Don’t you just love a good bay? Grande certainly lives up to his name. He is a big, stout gelding standing 15’3 HH and 1350 lbs., with presence, yet he doesn’t ride like a big horse. His black mane and tail, sharp stripe face, and two small white socks give him a look that stands out.

 

Grande is easy to be around and simple to handle. He is good to shoe, easy to handle on the ground, and has been used on the ranch doing everyday ranch chores. He is a good-traveling gelding that can cover a lot of country when needed, but is just as content to stand around the barn and relax when the day calls for it.

 

He gets along well in a herd, pasture, pen, or box stall, and has handled every situation we’ve put him in with a good attitude. This is a quiet gelding that has his whole life a head of him.
