The 6" swept-back cheek carries a 3-1/2" shank with a 2-1/2" purchase, so it stays on the gentle side of the leverage scale when it's fitted properly. The smooth bar mouthpiece is curved to sit comfortably at the corners of the mouth, and the copper inlay encourages the horse to salivate and stay soft and responsive. A solid pick for colts moving up from the snaffle or finished horses that like a quiet, honest bit.
