The 7-1/2" swept-back straight shank provides a 2-1/2" purchase with a 5" shank — swept back like the 6" model but to a lesser degree, delivering more leverage and control at increased speeds while still remaining a mild, well-balanced cheek when properly adjusted. The stainless steel cheek features an inlaid copper ported chain mouthpiece that provides tongue relief, flex, and bend throughout the body while encouraging the horse to break at the poll. The sweet iron chain is pinchless and comfortable, making this an ideal choice for finished, well-broke horses.
